MSRTC Enthusiasts helping MSRTC for a better travel of passengers. Other than day-to-day regular schedules of MSRTC, it also operates extra buses in festive season. At the time of Diwali, Holi, Ganpati, etc. festivals, MSRTC runs extra buses on a very large scale. This operation of extra buses and catering loads of people creates stress on MSRTC operations. In order to help MSRTC and passengers, every year we create Pravasi Mitra Kaksha (Passenger Helpdesk)at bus stands where there is extra rush of people. We work as volunteers who solve all the queries of passengers regarding their journey. We check the booking slip of passengers and lead them to their buses. When will the bus arrive? Where the bus will arrive? On which platform the bus will arrive?, these are the common questions which passengers have. A passenger helping another passenger for his/her safe and sound journey, this is the main idea behind Pravasi Mitra Kaksha, which helps us create a bond between passenger and MSRTC.
